WordPress: Blighty Explorer Plugin

This plugin allows the complete file structure of a folder in your Dropbox account to be shared within a WordPress page or post. The folder can then be navigated via the WordPress site and files selected and downloaded. Changes in the Dropbox folder, such as the addition or deletion of files, are reflected through to the WordPress site. The current version supports a fixed subfolder within the Apps folder of Dropbox.

Installation

After installing the plugin, you will need to authenticate it with your Dropbox account by clicking on the “Authenticate with Dropbox” link at the top-right.

You will then be prompted to allow access to your Dropbox account. If you’re not logged in to Dropbox, you will be prompted to also log in to allow this access.

Set the options for the plugin. By default, folders and files are shared from Dropbox Folder/Apps/Blighty Explorer. If you have multiple blogs and want to share different folders on different installations, you can set a root folder here.

e.g. if you have Apps/Blighty Explorer/Folder1 and /Folder2 – you can set the Root Folder to be /Folder2 and that’s the folder that will be shared.
